Forster Community College


Forster Community College is committed to local collaboration, and to working in partnership with a varied range of businesses, public sector and community/voluntary sector organisations. These partnerships provide our learners with valuable learning experiences through placements and voluntary work, whilst also allowing access to real work and employment opportunities.

Our customer focused philosophy provides our learners with awareness of the local economy and requirements for career development and progression. We support our learners to develop their skills to become more employable and prepare them to contribute positively to their community.

The College is effective in engaging with local and regional priorities and to this end continues to deliver services through contracted partnerships with Aspire-i, Bradford Metropolitan District Council and the Skills Funding Agency.   

Working with and supporting communities is an integral part of Forster’s ethos.  We are proud to have good positive relationships which deliver education and training opportunities, together with access to services which allow people and families to have better employment and career prospects.  Amongst our Partners are: -  Gateway Community Centre, Fagley Children’s Centre, Baildon Community Link, St Hugh’s Centre, Bradford Academy, Bradford Refugee Forum, Action For Business Ltd, Bradford Libraries Services, BCB 106.6 FM, Milan Centre, Manningham Mills Community Association, Inn Churches, and Bradford Emmaus.
